"We're going to build a dance studio! We're going to Costa Rica and we're going to build a dance studio!" It's all I said before we left...

Wow, blissful! It's not built yet, but for this dancer, the image is good enough for now - that foundation and all of our ideas...

Here I sit in the dining room, on the farm, in Costa Rica. My belly is full, my body refreshed from a late night (skinny!) dip in the pool, sweet music in the air, my man and my friends by my side. I am content.

With this first visit to the country and the farm, I wasn't sure what I would find here or how it would feel, but this is good. We have vision, I have purpose, and it's sweaty fun, to boot! My Spanish is terrible, but that will improve; I don't know much about Jatropha, but that will change; I don't know how to build with cob, but I'll learn.

What I can and will do is help our Tribe vision and create how we do it - this wonderful and challenging village-retreat-in-the-jungle life that we are committed to. These how-to's include effective and compassionate communication, as well as the daily processes and structures that make our lives here fluid, gentle and complete. I also have the divine pleasure of playing with Kaileah, learning to cook fabulous tasty meals, discussing superior love and partnership with Joshua and Emily, and simply adoring my man, Jazen.

I am about Transformation through Love, Perfect Communication and Play. The play that my life usually takes is via The Dance. It is my passion, my art, my profession, my love. I am a professional modern (+ jazz cabaret & tango) dancer, performer, choreographer and teacher. As well, I have my own business as a personal organizer and event planner called Simplify Me. I live in Portland, Oregon, though I am origninally from Vancouver, Canada and have lived in Boston, MA, and around.

I am grateful for what I have - what has been given to me and what I have created. I look forward to so much more. Love!
