I was raised by a family who made me aware that there are many different practices of living in this world. Because I care deeply for my family, friends, and my own well-being, I want to help make this world a healthy and nurturing place to be.

I care deeply for my family and friends, and want to help make this world a healthy place to live. I am honored to help my family accomplish their goals of sustainable living.

I moved to Portland in 2003 and fell in love with this beautiful city; the people, the mix of cultures, even the weather drew me in. I feel I have found a place that mirrors my interests and beliefs. Along the way I discovered a deep passion for belly dance, and have developed my skills as a writer.

Here I also connected with a branch of wonderful relatives and friends who are ready to take action to change the quality of our lives. Thus, I am honored to help my family accomplish their goals of living sustainably and creating a tribe in Costa Rica that I believe promotes independence in these times of unwelcome control and hegemony. I hope to someday call both Portland and Puriscal my home.
