   Hello all!
   I was browsing the postings in horse care help-wanted ads and saw your website. I find your project interesting! I am a home designer, have been in architecture for 25 years, and have explored green building practices, in theory, but never in practice! Having worked in South Florida most of my life, it seems interest in green practices has not trickled down to the average consumer! However, I currently live in the mountains of Tennessee, own La Mancha Dairy goats, make cheese and dairy products from the milk, produce my own soap, organic garden, can and preserve all of my own food, and have owned and cared for horses most of my life. It must be quite different, though, doing that in such a “tropical” climate, as opposed to where I am currently living. The horse and animal care must be similar to conditions we experienced in south Florida. Is there anything I might be able to help you with in regards to your horse? Contact me if any might be interested in corresponding. My husband and I have land in the Mountains of NC and had wanted to try a sustainable compound there, but think that the restrictions in that state might prohibit the endeavor. Any suggestions or ideas on the subject?
