We have been doing so much everyday it is hard to even keep up.  The gardens have a consistent 6 to 8 people a day building and or maintaining our hill sides.  The construction crew stays busy building the stables, tire walls, moving a new container house into position, putting down road base, drainage, landing and building site prep.

How much do you know about what has been happening at the nuclear plant
in Fukushima Japan?  Has the media you pay attention to said much about
the science?  It is very urgent, and I can not stress it enough, that we
get active right now about nuclear energy and it’s huge faults.  Our governments are screaming about the evils of places like Iran, a hypothetical danger.  However, not a passionate word spoken or a law passed or UN resolution reached, as we breathe toxic air and eat toxic food as a result of real world evil.  All along the greedy Wall Street hoodlums in New York and Washington D.C. ( we can prove these threats are real) plunder the rest of our resources and keep building hyper-polluting energy plants and factories for useless trinkets.

It is almost funny how much attention is paid to stopping Iran while we
have built over 450 nuclear power plants that are totally unprepared for
inevitable natural disasters.  It seems the media gets even louder about
the potential for some attack directed towards freedom lovers,
rather than the nearly identical terrorism that they themselves create and then unleash.

We must mobilize like never before.  I hope you will research what has
been unfolding in Japan yourself.  I could write a book here to tell
you about it but I think if you look for yourself (outside the corporate
whore of a media and U.S. government reports) you will find enough evidence
to convince you that the current system has failed terribly.  The
dangers of nuclear fallout are real and now our Asian brothers and
sisters are being bathed in it.  If you like the West Coast of the
United States, or for that matter the Northern Hemisphere as a whole, it
is time to get active.

Friends from Ranchos Mastatal brought amazing homemade sodas and other yummies.  Iguana Chocolate brought chocolate in a dozen flavors, cacao butter for massage and much more.

We had classes all day, from fermentation to first aid to an English class.

We danced the night away and made loads of great new friends.

We also had another 60 cubic meters of road rock delivered this week and a backhoe is spreading it now.

The new animal stable is growing each day.  The goats are living in their new space.  The rabbits as well.  In a few more days the horse will be in his new home.  The tire retaining wall keeps growing and we have hundreds more tires coming next week to finish both the stable and to prepare for our earthship construction.

We have been clearing the brush out on the other side of the farm to prepare it for the cow, horse and goats.  We have now started building in the back field and the animals are moving.

We just had this done over the last few days.  A dozen deeper locks in the ponds are perfect for the fish to hide from the birds and to keep predator fish separate from the others.

Once constructed, the system will be maintained by affordable monthly tariffs based on usage.  The tariffs will make up-keep possible by employing a resident to oversee the system part-time.  A work-trade situation would also be available for anyone who may not be able to afford the few dollars per month.  Your donations will enable us to provide clean water to Carlos’ house, his mother’s and brother’s houses, the high school and elementary school.  The first $500 donated to this project will be matched by a private donor.
