Permaculture Design Course May/June 2012

Starting the last week in May we are having a Permaculture design course here at the farm. Two weeks of training followed by an optional practical period at the finca.  We are going to post exact details later today.

We are offering the class for $700 US.  That includes the 2 weeks stay at the finca, three meals a day and the use of all of our facilities.  For $800 you can do the class and then stay another 2 week at the finca for a practical study period.

Feria de Lanas is here again!

We are organizing the second edition of the Lanas Fair 1st of April 2012 in the beginning of Semana Santa. Everybody’s welcome and if we don’t have any more beds, you can always camp or sleep in a hammock.

 Some of the things we have lined up already:

 -Trade of Farm Products, Art, Jewelry etc.

-Permaculture workshop

-Swimming School

-First Aid Class

-English Class

-Hula Hoop Class

-Volleyball Tournament in the Pool

-Haircuts

-Open Mic/Live Music

-Fire Show

Lots Of Energy

The Finca has been rocking with 15 to 17 people here most days.  Swales are getting extended, ponds dug, compost piles built, barn erected, tent platform built and so much more.

We are going to be welcoming loads of tribe back after envision.  Please stay in touch for travel plans to and from the finca.
